As soon as decorations go up, Christmas activities begin! The kids made a gingerbread village this year, which seemed to be better and easier than one big house. They each got to create their own master piece!

The Sunday after Thanksgiving we took a cruise to the North Pole to see Santa. It was an awesome Groupon purchase! We got on boat in Coeur d' Alene and cruised out to an "island" where Santa's workshop was. Santa was there with an elf who read names off of the "good list." I think my kids were shocked to hear their names. It was a fun night with the family!
My girls and me.
Ellie, Owen, Dani and Ally.
The Grinch happened to be hanging out on the boardwalk. Sadly, I think this was even more exciting than Santa. He had a bit of a potty mouth and the kids thought it was hysterical!
The family: Grandma Phillips, Auntie Sarah, Uncle Kelly, Kent, Uncle Pete, Brayden, Keegan, Ellie, Owen, Ally and Dani.
It was a cold and chilly night, but a wonderful way to start off the Christmas season!
