Surprise...... Happy Birthday!

What a fun weekend! Kent and I went out both Friday and Saturday. Finally, on Saturday we had my MIL's suprise 60th Birthday! I am so glad it finally arrived, I thought for sure I was going to blow the secret. Her daughter, Shelby, came into town with her family, AND Sandy's brother, Pete, flew in from Florida. It was so hard to talk to Sandy as the date drew closer, and we were trying to make plans with Shelby and Uncle Pete. We had the party in a private room at the Max. It was wonderful, better than any of us expectd. It was strangely, surreal to be able to sit and talk to our family without kids running around needing something! I think the last time we were able to just talk, was before any of us had kids, SEVEN years ago. A fun evening was had by all!

On Sunday, we had the planned Birthday brunch at our house, so everyone could see all the kids. All the cousins could barely contain themselves, they were so excited!
