It is just a little more red than I was wanting. I don't know if it is permanent or semi-permanent. Who pays attention to those things? :) Pi, there is nothing wrong with being a red head, I'm just not used to it. :) AND my red hair is not pretty like yours!
Christy, I did the same thing a few weeks ago. I did brown, but it came out darker than I thought it would. It has grown on me though. I think if you really want to change it so soon you should go to a professional, it scares me too that if dyed to soon, it could all fall out! Honestly I think it looks good though!
When you said purple, I had flashbacks to my college days of maroon hair. Good times. I think your after picture looks great. Are you getting a little more used to it? It always seems such a stark contrast at first, but then you get used to it. I think it looks nice, but if you still want to change it before pictures, I'd go to a a salon. Be prepared to shell out some cash.
I know this doesn't help, but I am so glad to see you didn't do serious damage! I like the color on you- I think it is fun, but I know it isn't the natural look you were going for. I agree that at this point, professional is the only way to go if you have to do something before Monday. I feel your pain-I've had some interesting hair color in my day. My least favorite was my black hair that I decided I just had to try right around Pi's wedding. Oh, all those wedding photos! Talk about pale. Good luck!

I think it looks good...but I'm one who loves the interesting hair. I'm with everyone else, go to a salon if you want to change it by Monday.
